A Time To Be Born
On Tuesday December 25, 1962, Sheila Denise Jordan was born to the late Charlie Amos Jordan and the late Doretha Caroline Barnes. Sheila was the first born to her parents and was also the firstborn maternal grandchild.
A Time For Every Purpose Under Heaven
Sheila became the big sister to Charlie Antony Jordan one year one month one day later. Sheila was a very caring person from childhood to adulthood. She loved being around her family, especially her cousins. She attended Thomasville City Schools and graduated from Thomasville High School in 1982. Sheila attended New Hope C.M.E. Church in Leon County, FL. She was a homemaker and often cared for her nephews and cousins. Sheila’s greatest and proudest job was raising her niece, Meisha Marie Jordan, as her own daughter. The two were inseparable from the day Meisha came home from the hospital after her birth until the day Sheila took her last breath.
A Time To Say Goodbye
On April 22, 2023, God saw that Sheila was weary and tired and stopped by Archbold Memorial Hospital to give her eternal and everlasting healing and rest. Sheila was predeceased by her brother, Charlie, her maternal grandparents, Ruby Lee and Robert (Nadine) Barnes and paternal grandmother, Essie Lee Jordan.
