Sandra G. Freshley, the eldest of 8 siblings, was born December 23, 1961 to Marjorie Rogers and Louis James Freshley in Bainbridge, Georgia. Sandra “San”, was preceded in death by Father, Louis Freshley, Mother Marjorie Rogers, and Brother Darrell Lynn Clemons (Tammy).
San graduated from Bainbridge High School in 1982 and relocated to West Palm Beach, Florida in 1987. She was a faithful member and served as a Deaconess of Hurting and Healing Ministries for All People located in Riviera Beach under the leadership of Pastor Carolyn Blackwell-Price. She worked for the City of Riviera Beach over 30 years as a Custodial Engineer before the onset of her
illness. San’s bright-eyed deep dimpled smile and infectious demeanor, captured the hearts of many and formed innumerous loving and lasting relationships.
To San, family was everything! She cherished and doted on her nieces and nephews as if they were her own. Then, on February 28, 2006, God granted her heart’s desire with the birth of her only child, Shawnyel Meiya Crichlow whom she leaves to mourn with her siblings: John Anthony Clemons; Angela (Gerald) Elie; Luretha (Gary) Moore; John Henry Clemons, Jr.; Danielle Clemons; Larry Freshley; Patrick Freshley; Dewey Freshley; and Jo-seph Freshley, Best Friend, Janie Dixon, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
