Miss Rosa Lee Jones was born September 8, 1943 in Donaldsonville, GA. She departed this life on Saturday, April 29, 2023, after a lengthy illness. Her early childhood was spent in Early County, GA. Later as a child, her family moved to Thomasville, GA. She never married and had no children. She attended public school in Thomasville. She gave her life to Christ at an early age, where she joined the New Jerusalem Church. Later, she moved and joined the Healing Temple Church, where she served faithfully and became Break Every Chain. She was a faithful member and truly loved the Lord. She supported her church faithfully until her health began to fail. She was special and unique in a thousand ways. Her life was committed to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The course of her life reflected the true meaning of sharing and caring. She had tremendous love for people, lending a helping hand whenever needed. She was a Sunday School Teacher and Usher. She also served on the Pastor’s Aid Club. She was big supporter of WSTT Radio Station with Bill James. She loved gospel singing. She loved children, although she never birth any, she had several. A significant void is left in the hearts of many with the passing of Missionary Rosa Lee Jones.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her loving and devoted cousin, Sarah H. Garland (Jerome), Annie Hutchins, Philadelphia, Martha (George) Toles, Philadelphia, step sisters, Shirley Fudge, Bronze, NY, Pauline Bryant, NY, Beverleen Jones, Florence, NC, Linda (Robert) Dunn, NC, Ameta Ozula, Maryland; brothers, Charles Bryant, NY, Paul (Charleen) Bryant, Indiana; loving and caring God children, Keesha Walden, Ollie Carr, Anne Marie Dixon, Thomasville, Lake Dixon, Thomasville, Teal Kenney, Waycross, Carla (Randall) Hatcher, Thomasville, Lynn (Michael) Crump, Lake Park, John (Stacey) Gay, Hernando, Mississippi; Special God Mother, Melvina Lawson and a host of cousins.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Ruby J. Allen, father, Casey Jones, brother, Casey Jones, Jr., and Sgt. Leroy Jones.
