Mrs. Mary Eva McIntyre - Brown was born on April 27, 1938 in Thomasville, Georgia to the late Roosevelt McIntyre, Sr. and Marietta Parson McIntyre.
She was a member of Mt. Zion Primitive Baptist Church. She was employed at Powell’s Nursery for many years. Also working at WalMart as a door greeter and Butler Mason YMCA as a nursery worker.
She was married to the late W. L. Brown, whom preceded her in death.
Mrs. Brown leaves behind four daughters, Debra Dixson, Janice Davis, Linda Brown and Vanisa Brown, all of Thomasville, GA and one son, Gregory Brown of Thomasville, GA; siblings, Paul McIntyre, Elijah McIntyre and sister in law, Annie McIntyre. Mrs. Brown was also the grandmother of seven grandchildren, Montrez Brown and Shenada Henderson of Thomasville, GA, Shedrika Dennis of Ludowici, GA, Ashley Brown and Micah Graham of Lawrenceville, GA, Chevalier Brown of Valdosta, GA and Stephanie Brown of Washington, DC; fifteen great grandchildren, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her son, William L. Brown; daughter, Vanessa Henderson; siblings, Juanita Hadley, Ernest (Evelyn) Roosevelt, Jr. and Peter McIntyre.
