Mr. Willie Ross, Sr. was born on October 8, 1949 to late Edd Ross, Sr. and Girlvester Ross in Boston, GA. He departed his life on Friday, June 16, 2023 at his residence.
He attended Magnolia High School. He was employed at Scoggins Dozer as a construction worker for many years. He was converted and later joined First Unity Missionary Baptist Church June 4, 1995. He was on the Usher & Trustee Boards at First Unity Missionary Baptist Church He enjoyed praising the Lord, fishing, dancing, repairing vehicles, and listening to old school music.
To cherish his memories, he leaves behind his beloved wife of 34 years, 40 years together, Christine Ross, a native of Thomas County, whom he adored and loved dearly.
Mr. Willie also leaves behind many moments of laughter with his daughters, Katrina (Scott) Sanders and Nicole "LaCole" Bradshaw (Champ); his sons, Stacey Ivey, Sr. (Rwanda), Willie Ross, Jr. and Jeffrey Ross; brothers, Edd Ross, Jr., Leroy (Clarice) Ross , Charles Ross; his only sister, Gwendolyn Norton; grandchildren: Bre Robinson (Mike), Jalen Wilson, Sedrick Revels, Jr., Tre' Brown and Stacey Ivey, Jr.; only great-grandchild, Aubri "Toot Toot" Faison; aunts, Lizzie Lenon and Marilyn Coleman; uncles, Ezekiel Glenn and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Patrick Lamar Ross, brother, Marvin Ross, and nephew, Marlon Ross.
