Malinda Gail Jones Samuel was born October 31, 1957, to Rosa Mae Williams and Joseph Jones in Thomas County, Georgia.
Malinda became a member of The Pentecostal Church of God in Fort Myers, Florida in 1973. She was a dedicated Praying Woman and was a member of the Mass Choir until her health problems arose; she also worked faithfully with the usher board and building fund. She had a devoted love for her leader Bishop James Stoudemire. She attended Cypress Lake High School
in Fort Myers, Florida. After High School she joined the National Job Corps of America; where she traveled to Washington, DC and marched in the Inaugural Parade of President Jimmy Carter.
Sis Malinda Samuel, was a loving mother and a devoted wife. She loved her family. She loved family dinners and large family gatherings. Sis Samuel loved cooking for her family, where she
often made her famous cornbread. All the family loves her cornbread. We knew that the main ingredient was “Love”.
She was an anchor in the family and was well known for giving out information, “Way God can be Pleased with it”, “Do not Practice ignorance in her presence”. “She tells upfront so that it didn’t stick out behind”.
She leaves to Cherish her memory her devoted Husband Deacon Pherman Samuel, two daughters, Sis Rhoda Bready and Sis Rolinda Hall; two sons, Jimmy Dudley, Jr and Pherman Samuel, Jr.; four grandchildren, Indya Lewis (Marvin), Minister Antonio Bready II, Sis Trynitee Stewart Sis Londyn Bready and two great grandchildren, Zendaya (Sassy) Lewis and Myles Lewis; three
brothers, Bro. Joseph Jones (Julia Mae), Elder Paul Jones, and Elder Julius Thompson, Jr. (Felecia); ten sisters, Sis Evelyn McDonald, Sis Emma Singleton, Sis Judy Jones, Sis Aritha
Denise Currie, Sis Cynthia Thompson, Sis Tronda Thompson, Sis Shonda Sneed, Janet Sloan, Fannessa Brinson and Mrs. Roberta Jones; brother-in-law, Lamar Samuel (Tamara), two nephews that she loved dearly as her sons, Minister Tyrone Thompson and Bro Deramie Thompson and a host of nephews, nieces and cousins, friends and the entire Body of Christ.
