Maggie Jerlet Davis

Maggie Jerlet Davis, known by her loved ones as Jerlet, gained her wings on June 4, 2023 being called home by God to join with the love of her life her mother, Lettie Davis.  

Maggie Jerlet Davis was born on September 8, 1986 to Jerry D Morris and the late Lettie Davis. Jerlet was a mother to two children, Nyla and Terell, who were the joy and most important gift that was given to her.

Jerlet loved to eat, listen to music, read and write in her journal. Jerlet was loved by many, will be missed by all that was touched by that smile that shined brighter than the sun. Jerlet had an smile that would make you smile as soon as you saw it. Maggie or Jerlet as she was known by will be missed by all that knew and loved her.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her two children Nyla and Terell, her father, Jerry D. Morris; maternal grandmother, Maggie Davis; paternal grandmother, Elnora Morris; three uncles, James Hendrix and Jay Davis (Cathy Davis), Vern Shelton; aunts, Lewis Dean Williams and Talisa Shelton; stepsisters,Victoria Evans and Demetrius Nisbette and a host of relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Lettie Davis; paternal grandparents, Ennis (Rosie) Morris; maternal grandfather, J W. Davis and uncle, Johnny Davis.
