On April 21, 1955, LaDon Ondra Willis was born in Thomasville, Georgia to the late Willie Edward and Mary Frances Willis. He was the third eldest child of nine siblings.
Ladon was reared in Thomas County until the age of six when the family moved down to Miami, Florida. He completed grade school and graduated from Miramar High School. Upon graduation, LaDon started his career in transportation services driving tractor trailers. Truck driving was his passion, and LaDon's career as a truck driver soon spanned to over 40 years. LaDon was raised in the Holiness Church. By his actions and many deeds, you knew that he loved the Lord. He was united in marriage to Monica Chandler. To this union, three children were born.
