Elizabeth Ellis

January 2, 1939 ~ August 15, 2023 (age 84) 84 Years Old

Obituary

Elizabeth Ellis was born January 2, 1939 in Ochlocknee, Georgia to Eugene Wllis and Nittie Bryant, who preceded her in death. At the age of 84, she passed from this Earthly world on August 15, 2023 to her heavenly home.

Mother Ellis served on the Mother’s Board at Thomasville Deliverance Holiness Church in Thomasville, GA.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her loving daughter, Clara Ellis Brown, Atlanta, GA; sons, Fritz Ellis, Thomasville, GA, Bernard L. (Ethel) Lundy, Atlanta, GA, Jeffrey A. Lundy, Atlanta, GA; daughter in law, Corinna Ellis; eight grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews, who loved her dearly.

Elizabeth is preceded in death by her parents and her son, Alphonso Ellis.

Mother Ellis was a precious jewel with deep love for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. When God created Mother Elizabeth Ellis, he broke the mold. Mother Ellis was one special creation, when I tell you. She came in speaking and leaving out speaking until they spoke. She loved hard and deeply loved all her children. Not only her children but she loved the children in the neighborhood. They enjoyed eating at her table. Mother Ellis, we love you and you will be truly missed. Rest on until we meet again.
