Delores Scurry was born on July 24, 1963 in Monticello, Florida to the late Willie Scurry and Annie Jackson. On April 21, 2023, Our Heavenly Father called Our Beloved, Doe Doe, home. She attended Jefferson County Public School and worked as a professional housekeeper. She took pride and dedication in her work. She leaves to cherish her loving and precious memories, daughters, Annie Katherine Jones of Monticello, Florida, Elizabeth Jones of Tallahassee, Florida, Rosetta Scurry of Monticello, Florida, and Veronica Mosley of Lloyd, Florida; sons, Clarence Jones of Monticello, Florida, Leo J. Jones, III of Tallahassee, Florida, Cleve Jones of Monticello, Florida, Larry Merritt of Lloyd, Florida, Walter Mosley of Lloyd, Florida and Vincent Mosley of Monticello, Florida; sister, Carolyn Footman of Monticello, Florida, Christine Andrews of Monticello, Florida, Elsie Scurry of Tallahassee, Florida, Patricia Ann Scurry of Tallahassee, Florida, Kathy Ann Williams of Tallahassee, Florida; brothers, Willie Scurry of Monticello, Florida, Robert Scurry (Mary) of Monticello, Florida; seven grandchildren; one great grandson, Kingston Jones; aunts, Rosa Lee Anderson and Angie Oliver of Monticello, Florida; uncles, Willie Carr Jackson of Lamont, Florida and a host of nieces, nephews and sorrowing friends.
