Corene Henderson

Corene Henderson was born on December 9, 1964 to the late Mr. Eula B Monroe and the late Carrie Lee Monroe in Thomasville, GA. She departed this earthly life on Tuesday, August 22, 2023 in Tallahassee, FL at her home surrounded by her family.

Corene attended school in Thomasville, GA. She later moved to Tallahassee, FL, where she raise her children. Corene was loving, hardworking and always the life of the party. She is deeply loved and will be truly missed.

She leaves to cherish her memories, four children, Cornelius  Henderson (Angela), Tarnesha Henderson (Christopher), LaTonja Henderson (Jonathan) and Erica Crawford (Monterious); one Godchild, Annie Leonard; six grandchildren, Cornelius Henderson, Jr., Carrieanna Henderson, Nalaysha Oglesby, Brian Oglesby, Ayden Pompey, and Romel Lilly, all of Tallahassee, FL. She also leaves three brothers, Johnny Gatlin (Brenda), Willie Monroe (Hazel) of Thomasville, GA, Tommy Monroe (Eleanor); three sisters, Mary Collins (Eugene) of Valdosta, GA, Claretha Ham of Boston, GA, Sandra Cooper (Ellis) of Tallahassee, FL; sisters in law, Catherine Gatlin of Thomasville, GA, Geraldine Collins of Plant City, FL; a very special friend, Rufus and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
