Cedric Shanord Norris, Sr. was a loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend to his family and friends. Cedric Shanord Norris, Sr. was born July 2, 1973 to Phyllis Dixon Williams and Charlie Frank Norris, Jr. in Pfullendorf, Germany. Cedric Shanord Norris, Sr. attended the public schools of Dougherty County School System. He graduated from THE Monroe Comprehensive High School in 1991 where he was a PROUD TORNADO football player later to become a die-hard Atlanta Falcons fan. After graduating high school, Cedric joined the United States Marine Corps and was employed as a break-man at Flowers Bakery Inc. for the last 9 years. Cedric was a kind and thoughtful soul and will be missed and remembered by the many lives he touched. Cedric Shanord Norris, Sr. was united in holy matrimony on September 9, 2016 to his devoted wife, June L. Norris, whom he loved & cherished dearly for 9 years, 7 of which they were married. Cedric and June resided in Thomasville, GA. On Saturday, April 22, 2023, Cedric Shanord Norris, Sr. made the transition from his earthly home to his heavenly home. Cedric leaves a legacy of love to carry on his memories and his infectious smile: a loving wife, June L. Norris; his parents, Phyllis Dixon Williams and Charlie Frank Norris, Jr.; four biological children, Cedric Norris Jr., Christopher Norris, Kamaal Norris, and T’Khiry Norris; three stepchildren, Santo Mcclain, Eric Robinson and Morgan Robinson; twelve grandchildren; two sisters and one brother, Conova Norris, CaMyra Norris and Montravious Norris; one niece and one nephew, Mia Hardy and Courtney Kintrell Hardy, Jr.; three special children, Marticia G. Lockhart (Ticia), Seketha Lammons (Nikki) and Brittany Lammons (Britt); five special grandchildren; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Michael and Cornelia Tucker; three sisters-in-law, Patricia Graham, Claudett Graham and Rosiland Taylor; best friends, Granadus Terrell Harris and James Roberts; special friends, Paul Copeland, Tracie Heard, Ralph Minor, and Joshua Graham; special cousin, Tracy Snell; with a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
