Bobby Fitzgerald Ivey was born on March 12, 1964 in Thomasville, GA to Felton Ivey, Sr., and the late Martha Harris-Ivey.
He was baptized at Presbyterian Church in Thomasville, GA along with his siblings at an early age. He was a graduate of Thomasville High School, where he was a member of the track team. After graduation, he joined the United States Army in 1983. He was employed at Sunnyland and Flowers Baking Company from 2000 – 2023. He enjoyed fishing, gambling, and going out to eat.
Bobby leaves, his first wife from 1987 - 2011, Sheila A. Ivey; children, Shandranicka (Terrace) Shaw, Sade L. Ivey, Marcus J. Ivey, and grandchild, Tylan Jones.
He also leaves, his second wife from 2016 – 2022, Vanessa Ivey; stepchildren, Shanell Bryant and Tyrone Bryant and his loyal step grandchildren.
Bobby leaves to cherish his memories, his siblings, Felton Ivey, Jr., Alfred Dean Ivey, Martha L. Ivey, Willie R. Ivey, James A. Ivey, Mark L. Ivey, Margaret D. Ivey and brother-in-law, James W. Jones. He was cherished by his nephews, Johnny L. Davis, Jr., Felton D. Ivey, III; niece, Lawanda Gail Williams and other great and great-great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Martha Harris-Ivey and father, Felton Ivey, Sr., sister, Yvette Jones-Ivey, grandchild, Landen Hightower.
