Mr. Willie Clyde Thompson was born August 7th, 1949, to the late Johnny and Annie Bell Thompson in Irwin County, GA. On June 20, 1970, he was joined in holy matrimony to the late Mrs. Brenda Thompson, who was the love of his life. They were both members of the Pentecostal Church of the Living God in Melbourne, FL, where he served as their drummer and deacon. Mr. Willie Clyde was known for his cooking and playing drums for the Spiritual Aires of Moultrie, GA.

During Willie Clyde and Brenda's union, they were blessed with three sons; Clyde Lorenzo Thompson, Dexter Gerrod Thompson, Nathaniel Thompson, and one daughter, Vanisha Francesca Thompson.

He departed this life on Monday, October 6th, 2025, at Archbold Memorial Hospital, Thomasville, GA.

Willie Clyde Thompson is preceded in death by his parents, Johnny and Annie Bell Thompson; his brother, Hosea Benjamin Thompson; his sisters, Dorothy Thompson and Nona Thompson; and his son, Dexter Gerrod Thompson.

Willie Clyde Thompson is survived by his two sons, Clyde Lorenzo Thompson (Tequila), Hahira, GA, and Nathaniel Thompson, Camilla, GA; daughter, Vanisha Thompson, Moultrie, GA; eight beautiful grandchildren; four beautiful great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends who loved him.
