Victor Bernard Carr was born on April 25, 1967 in Thomasville, GA to the late Norma Jean Hadley Carr and Lucious Carr Sr.
He accepted Christ at an early age and joined Mount Moriah M.B. Church. He was a 1985 graduate of Thomasville High School. After graduating, he joined the United States Marine Corps. Upon completion of military service, he moved back to Thomasville and was formerly employed at Southwestern State Hospital. He later moved to Long Beach, CA and worked at Montue, Woodward & Associates Tax Firm for over 20 years. He developed a strong bond of friends that became his "West Coast Family." As his health began to fail, he moved back to Thomasville, GA to be surrounded by the love and support of his family and friends. His passion in life was "LIVING" and helping people. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends, on the East as well as the West Coast.
Survivors include his sisters, LaShawn Henderson-Middleton (William) of Hartsfield, Connecticut, Sonya McLean of Thomasville, GA and Rhonda Carr-Thomas (Mario) Thomasville, GA; brother, Lucious Carr Jr. (Dawn); aunt, Mary Smith of Boston, GA; uncles, Elmer Hadley (Barbara) and Willie Carr of College Park, GA; special friend, Carletta Barnes of Long Beach, CA; devoted friends and brothers, Ted Montue of Long Beach, CA and Willie Warren of Thomasville, GA and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Norma Jean Hadley Carr; his father, Lucious Carr Sr.; brothers, Mark T. Carr, and Lloyd Hadley; grandmothers, Kathryn Robinson -Hadley and Rosetta Armster- Carr; grandfathers, Norman Hadley and Frank Carr Sr.; aunts, Cynthia Carr, Mattie Carr, Elinor Brown, Julia Hayward, Claretha Wilson; uncles, Frank Carr Jr., Eddie Hayward, Eddie Smith, Leroy Wilson, Sr.
