Mr. Vernell Williams was born on April 12, 1953 in
Coolidge, GA to the late Albert Williams, Sr. and Lonella
House Williams.
He was a retired contractor. He often did free work for low
income people. He was a licensed minister of the gospel,
who did nursing home and homebound ministry.
Mr. Williams was a Vietnam Veteran. He was a lifetime
member of the Disabled Veteran's Association.
He was also a devoted member of the Salvation Army.
Mr. Williams was joined in Holy Matrimony to the former
Debra Ann Fisher on October 1, 2012.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Debra Williams,
his daughters, Tiffany W. Williams and Lanell (Benjamin)
Mitchell; step daughter, LaBoyia Marshall; step sons,
Matreil Robinson, Samuel Watts; grandchildren, Jarquice D.
Williams, Kenyatae K. Williams, Lorenzo D. Bowdry, Seneca
Springle III and Neveah Mitchell; great grandchildren, Ava
M. Davis, Dashawn M. Johnson and Karson L. Bowdry;
god daughter, Ayanna Marshall; brothers, Alford J. Williams,
Eli Williams, Carl Williams, Mack E. (Hanna) Williams;
brother in law, David (Janice) Fisher; special cousins, Rev.
Dennis McGill, Allen House, Lewis Worthy; devoted friend,
Rev. Maurice Miller and a host of nieces, nephews and
other relatives.
