Ms. Vanessa Anette King Barnes

Ms. Vanessa Anette King Barnes was born in Clearwater, Florida on February 29, 1968, to the late Amos King Sr and Alberta Davis King. Vanessa graduated from Leon High School. She was the perfect mother to her sons and a loving grandmother. She worked hard all her life until her health started to decline.

On Wednesday, February 8, 2023, God called Vanessa home for her eternal rest.

She leaves behind to cherish her memories, four sons, Ahmad Walker, Sr., Jacob Greene, Richard Barnes, Jr., and Quentin Barnes all of Tallahassee, FL; six grandchildren, Ahmad Walker,Jr., Jamaya Greene, Sean Johnson, Richard Barnes, III, Rashard Barnes, and Khloe Walker all of Tallahassee, FL.; three sisters, Ada King, Betty King Hall, Sheila King all of Thomasville, GA;three brothers, Micheal (Sallie) King of Thomasville, GA, Issac Greene and Robert King of Clearwater, FL; one uncle, Willie James Davis (Eddie Bell) of Rochester, NY; one aunt, Alean Ross, of Atlanta, GA; a special friend, Lance Footman, and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.

Vanessa is preceded in death by her siblings, Gloria King, Alexander King, and Amos King; niece, LaTricka Sloan and nephew, Cameron Leland.
