Ulysses Brown, simply known as "Sonny" to his family and friends, was born the seventh child of ten to the late Moses Brown and Frankie Williams Brown on October 2, 1947. He resided in Thomasville, Georgia until he peacefully departed Earth on August 30, 2021.
Ulysses graduated from Magnolia High School class of 1967. He then went on to serve four ears in United States Army. After his time in the Army, he enrolled in and graduated from Cosmetology school in 1972. Once completed, he spent years doing security, which he absolutely loved. On February 12, 1972, Ulysses married Fleeta Thigpen. Two beautiful children were born to this union.
Ulysses was an amazing and devoted father to his children, Derrick Ulysses Brown and Keisha Lashawn Brown. One couldn't ask for a more kind and devoted father.
He leaves to cherish his life, his daughter, Keisha Brown (Corey); brothers, James Brown (Ann), Eugene Brown; sisters, Ocie Ellis, Louise Shivers, Debra Brown and host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Moses Brown, Jr., sisters, Lillie Mae Lee, Genella Mondiser, Sireatha Glenn, son, Derrick Brown and wife, Fleeta Thigpen.
