Tony Edwards was born on April 20, 1981, to Ruby Edwards and Ulysses Edwards. He received his education through the public schools of Grady County. Born and raised in Whigham, Georgia, Tony’s life was surrounded by the love of family, the bonds of friendship, and the special moments that made his journey uniquely his own.

Tony was a loving father, a cherished son, a devoted brother, and a beloved family member and friend. His children held a special place in his heart, and he treasured every moment spent with them. Whether he was singing a song, cutting hair, drawing, or simply sharing hugs and kisses with those he loved, Tony had his own special way of bringing joy to others and creating memories that will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him.

On September 24, 2026, Tony transitioned from this earthly life, leaving behind a family and circle of friends who will forever feel the emptiness of his absence. Though his time here has ended, the love he gave, the memories he created, and the lives he touched will never be forgotten.

Tony was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents, along with a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories and carry his love in their hearts his father, Ulysses Edwards (Elaine Johnson); and his mother, Ruby Edwards and wife Tia Everett. He also leaves behind his five beautiful children: two sons, Tymerius Sapp (Jennasey) and Nyzell Edwards; and three daughters, Kealin Edwards, Dyzbriell Edwards, and Kalay Montgomery. He is also lovingly remembered by his bonus children, Shakabriel Collier and Dyjon Lewis; his grandchildren; two sisters Amanda Edwards and Monica Swicord; and a bonus sister Georgia Johnson three nieces Britney Stinson, Jadia Edwards and Brianna Edwards and one nephew Jaylin Perksins and a host of loving aunts, uncles, nieces, great nephews, cousins, grandchildren and dear friends.

Tony, you may have departed from this earthly life, but you will never depart from our hearts. Your love will continue to live through your children, your family, and everyone blessed to have known you.
