Tesha McKnight came into this world on February 24, 1966 at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD. She was a lovely and unique baby who blossomed into a beautiful brown eyed woman.
Listening to music of all genres was her favorite, especially long car rides with music blasting to old school R&B songs, which would always bring a dazzling smile to her face as she rocked her head to the beat. However, it was walking that brought her the most pleasure. Quite simply, she loved it and always had a hard time sitting still. In another life, she could have been a fantastic track star or distance runner, because she enjoyed being on the move. Much like her Aunt Dorothy, they never seemed to grow weary of going on long extended walks.
During Tesha's life, she touched the hearts of many. Her determination was always on full display in every aspect. It was this momentum that helped her persevere and overcome many of life's challenges.
In doing so, Tesha developed a fan club, especially over the past 12 months. These included devoted nurses, doctors, and care givers who admired, respected, and adored her. Many of them greeted Tesha by calling out "Hey Beautiful." Perhaps because even with her physical appearance changing as her health declined, they could still see the
beauty that lived within her. It's that beauty that will always live inside of us and she will be forever loved.
Tesha is survived by her devoted mother, Jacqueline King; caring sister, Alicia King Toles (Dale); nephews, Christopher P. King and Elliott Toles, along with a host of relatives and friends.
