Terance Zeno Modelist was born on June 9, 1967, in Houston, Texas to the late Harry Modelist and Mary Susan Richard Modelist.


He attended the Houston Public Schools in Houston, Texas. He graduated from Jack Yates High School Class of 1985.


He was baptized at Boynton United Methodist Church in Houston, Texas. He later, joined New Grove Street Baptist Church in Houston, Texas, where he sang in the choir.


Terance joined the United States Navy from 1986 to 1993, he later returned to the US Navy 2003. Later, he decided to join the United States Army from 2007 until 2012.


Terance grew up in Houston, Texas, but wanted to see the world and did so through service to his country. He moved to Thomasville, Georgia to be near his mother and assist in her care.
He loved motorcycles. He was a member of the HD Boyz in Thomasville, Georgia.


On December 9, 2020, he married Cynthia Lamons.


He also leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Cynthia Modelist; his mother, Mary Susan (Henry) Moody; his children, Terance Rylander Sr. (Alexis), Houston, TX, Teressa Mone Rylander, Houston, TX, Terell Modelist, Houston, TX, Treven Modelist, Houston, TX, Tremaine Modelist, Fort Lauderdale, FL, Darcel Bradford, Tampa, FL, Corey Spence, Norfolk, VA, Deltrioz Lamons, Thomasville, GA, Alexis Smith, Thomasville, GA, Zapporah Cooksey, Thomasville, GA; grandchildren, Terance Rylander, II, Alaysia Rylander, Preston Rylander, Milani Barnes; his sister, Lydia Modelist Alston (Warren) of Houston, TX; his brother, Leroy Tyrone Modelist (Catherine) of Thomasville, GA and a host of other relatives and friends.


He was preceded in death by his father and his brother, Harry Modelist, Jr.
