Takesha LaShaun Jenkins was born July 1, 1981 in Thomasville Ga, to Rose L Engram and Roy Jenkins.

Takesha transitioned from this life on August 18, 2026 at Colquitt Regional Hospital in Moultrie, GA.

Takesha was a very loving, caring and inspiring person. Takesha loved God, reading, dancing, spending time with her family and most of all she loved cooking.

Takesha attended Thomasville High School and graduated with the class of 1999.

Takesha was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Ella Mae Wilkes and Doris Jenkins; her grandfathers, Joseph Wilkes and Leory Jenkins; her uncles, Billy Wilkes and Anthony Jenkins; and her aunt, Priscilla Jenkins.

Takesha leaves to cherish her memories of her loving son, De’Karrious Jenkins and a special son, Malaki Gunter of Thomasville, GA; her lovely mother, Rose L Engram of Thomasville, GA; her dad, Roy Jenkins of Meigs, GA and her bonus dad, George (Marilyn) Engram of Thomasville, GA; her brother, Alteece (Ashley) Engram of Arizona; her sisters, Adrian (Arthur) Ross of Cairo, GA, Jessica (Justin) Copeland of Virginia, Makishia (John) Sherman of Thomasville, GA and Erica Jenkins of Meigs, GA; Her special sisters, Crystal Jackson, April Davis, Page and Sage Jackson all of Thomasville, GA; and host of nieces and nephews. She also leaves her aunts, Carol Jackson of Thomasville, GA, Debra Jenkins, Sabrina Jenkins and Sandra (William) Spear, all of Meigs, GA; her uncles, Micheal (Pamela) Jenkins and Bruce Jenkins of Meigs, GA; a special friend, Gerald Davis and a host of cousins and friends.
