T.C. Sanders was born August 22, 1928, in Thomasville, GA. He was the son of the late Sam and Alberta Sanders.
He graduated from Douglass High School in 1947 and was an active member of the chorus and workshop. He retired from Sunnyland Foods after 38 years of employment. T.C. accepted Christ at a very early age at Providence Missionary Baptist Church, where he sang in the Mass and Male choir. Later, he became a Deacon and served faithfully until his health failed. He was an avid fisherman and gardener. Also, he was a die-hard fan of the Atlanta Falcons and Atlanta Braves.
He married Mae Frances Monroe, a devoted wife with whom he spent 75 years of marriage. Within their union, they were blessed with four beloved daughters, Agnes Russell, Audrey Sanders, Loraine (Daniel) Rhodes, and Valarie Whaley. He will also be missed by his grandchildren, Ashley and Carrington, his great-grandchildren, Landon, Carmin, Taylor, and Jermiah, and other in-laws, and a host of nieces and nephews.
He cherished his sons-in-law, Daniel Rhodes and the late Morris Russell.
He was preceded in death by the following loved ones, Samuel, Edgar, Marvin Sanders, Ocie Scott and his son in law, Morris Russell.
