Charlie Jenkins, Jr. "Sneakie Boy" as he was fondly called, was the son of Charlie Jenkins, Sr. and Tommie Lee Brown was born April 08, 1950, in Pelham, GA (Mitchell County).
Charlie was raised in Mitchell County and attended Mitchell County Training School in Pelham, GA. He enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1973 and served in the Viet Nam and Desert Storm Wars. He was member at Kairos Worship Center.
On November 26, 1976, he married Pamela Hutchins and to this union, they were blessed with two sons.
On Friday, April 19, 2024, the Lord saw that Charlie was tired and He put his arms around him so there would not be any more pain. He had completed his last tour of duty. The battle is over!
Charlie was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Bernice Eason, Doretha Myrick, Willa Dean Smith, Katie Mae Sanders; brothers, Corrie Jenkins, and Leroy Jenkins.
Charlie is survived by his wife, Pamela Jenkins; sons, Charlie Jenkins, III, Cameron Ellis Jenkins; brother, Donnell (Jackie) Jenkins; sisters, Sabrina Herring, Mary Brown; adopted children, Derica Hobbs, Meg Copeland, Vincent Martinez, Shawndra Spencer, Antonio Grant, Emanuel Patterson; sister-in-law, Valerie (James) West, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. A special "THANK YOU" to LaQuita Lee, Carolyn Grant, Shelia Lee, Cierria Thomas, and Journey Spencer for their dedication and care of our dear Charlie.
