Sherry Verelene Butler of Camilla, Georgia transitioned on August 29, 2026, at Archbold Memorial Hospital, Thomasville, Georgia.

Born on August 10, 1966, in Camilla, Georgia, Sherry was the beloved daughter of the late Robert lee Williams and Rossie Lee Williams. She attended Mitchell County Consolidated Schools and confessed her faith in Christ in 2008 at Oak Grove Baptist Church.

Shery was known for being the life of the party, her infectious humor, and her loving, caring heart. Her laughter, generosity, and beautiful spirit made her truly unforgettable.

She was preceded in death by her four sisters, Rosa Lee Williams, Kathleen Laverne Smith, Bobbie Jean Harrison, and Mary Gladys Williams: five brothers, Robert James Williams, Herbert Leon Williams, Morris Lee Williams, Earl Eugene Williams, and Jimmy Lee Williams.

Sherry leaves to cherish her special memories, her husband of 37 years, Holcombe Eugene Butler, Cairo, GA; two daughters, Tritannica Butler (Richard Brown Sr) Houston, Tx, Chassitti Butler, Houston, TX; one grandson, Richard Brown, Jr., three granddaughters, Aubrianna and Cambria Butler, Kaydei Hussey; one brother, Horace Lee (Janice) Williams, Camilla, GA; two sisters, Charlotte Louise Williams, Camilla, GA and Shelia Denise Johnson, Pelham, GA; sister-in-law, Alicia (Dimas) Rodriguez, Calvary, GA, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, colleagues, and dear friends.
