Today, we gather to celebrate the Life and Legacy of Shedarius Terreon Dondre’ Cochran, lovingly known as “BGM Smoke” and “Loc”, 32, of Wichita Falls, TX, who departed this life too soon on May 10, 2026, at United Regional Hospital in Wichita Falls, TX. He was born on July 9, 1993, at Archbold Memorial Hospital in Thomasville, GA. He brought vibrant energy, infectious joy, and undeniable talent into the lives of everyone he touched. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Roy Lee Cochran.
Shedarius attended Thomasville High School, where he was class of 2011, however he obtained his GED at Southern Regional Technical College in Thomasville, GA, at the age of 15. He was employed at Grabbs Kia Dealership in Wichita Falls, TX. Shedarius was a visionary artist and a gifted lyricist. Through his music, he became a powerful voice in his community, translating his life experiences, passions, and triumphs into art that resonated deeply with listeners. He could command any stage and studio with his unmatched flow and storytelling, always using his platform to uplift, inspire, and connect with others.
Above all else, Shedarius was a dedicated and devoted husband to his loving wife Accaica Cierra Cochran, whom he joined in Holy Matrimony on July 25, 2025. He was a deeply loving father to his children, 4 girls and 8 boys: A’Nyah Sherrer, Tyson Williams, Ashten Cochran, Christian Robinson, Ny’Keelah Manning, Rhi’Yana Peterson, Messiah Dukes, Rhyland Holder, Khylind Holder, U’Lani Daniels, Zadarius Cochran, and Ja’Nylah Williams. Family was the heartbeat of his life, and he poured boundless devotion into building a warm, joyful, and supportive home. Whether he was teaching life lessons, joking,or simply making memories. His greatest legacy lives on in the beautiful family that he built.
He also leaves to cherish his mother, Rhonda Regina Dennard (Kervin Williams), and father, Terrell Cochran. His grandparents, Mary Cochran, Essie Mitchell, and Frank Ceasar, and a wide circle of siblings, Amber Brown (Tyler Brown), Kiara Grady, Kwalek Cochran, Zamari Hill, Jakerious Debruce, and Aumari McIntosh. Additionally, he also leaves to cherish his Godparents, Priscilla Maxwell and Oscar Locke, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, extended family members, bonus mom, Katrice Carter, and his best friend, Xavier Jones.
As we remember Shedarius today, let us carry forward his love, his songs, and his infectious laughter. Although our hearts ache with his absence, we know that his spirit will live on in each of us, in our memories, in our love for one another, and in the songs that will forever remind us of his beautiful soul.
