Samuel Lewis Taylor

Samuel Lewis Taylor was born on August 31, 1953 in Thomasville GA to the late Raleigh Taylor and Catherine King-Taylor.

Samuel graduated from Thomasville High School, and attended Albany State University for vocal performance. He moved to Atlanta, GA.

Samuel was joined in Holy Matrimony to his wife, Carolyn Taylor. He was the father of Samuel Lewis Taylor, Jr., Chillinda Pittman and Lisa Hardy; grandfather of Lasheika Hardy, Travaris Hardy, Jamal Moffatt, Janyha Moffatt; great grandfather of Brittany Hughes, Jordan Randolph and Travaris Sims; brother to Carolyn Taylor, Ricky Taylor, Raleigh Taylor, Jr., and Twin brother to Sandra Taylor and survived by a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins as well as many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his siblings, Josephine Tims, Juanita Taylor, Elijah Taylor, Emmanuel Taylor, and Raleigh Capers Taylor.

Samuel was a strong husband, father, Grandfather, and God-father to many during his time, he was truly a friend to many and will truly be missed. Rest In Peace! Love your family and friends!
