Robert Wiggs peacefully made the transition from this life on January 21st, 2026 at the age of 74.

Robert was born to the late Malachi Wiggs and Alice Robinson Wiggs in Thomasville, Georgia, on January 25th, 1951. Robert was baptized at Rebecca Missionary Baptist Church (Thomasville, Georgia) at an early Childhood age. He was a 1968 graduate of Magnolia High School. After graduation, he served in the Navy from 1969 to 1973 and from 1973 to 1978 in the National Guard Army. After leaving the Navy, he returned to Thomasville, where he worked at Sunnyland, Jack Plastics, Southwestern State Hospital, and Archbold Northside. He retired from Southwestern State Hospital around 2011. Robert was a member of the American Legion Post 519 and served as the Commander for many years. He loved music and football and was an avid supporter of the Central Yellow Jackets. He was a man of few words, but he loved his family and enjoyed taking his Grandkids on country rides every weekend.

Robert was preceded in death by his brothers, Malachi Wiggs Jr, Nathan Wiggs, Herman Wiggs, Larry Wiggs, his Grandson Roderick McIntyre, and brother-in - law (Nathaniel Whitte).

He leaves to cherish his memory, Daughters, Lativia Arrington, Felisha Harris; stepdaughter, Freda Barber (Louis), Stepson Joseph Harris (Kimberly); and very special friend, Kellie Harris; grandchildren, Antario Ivey, Starr Ivey, Reginald Arrington Jr, Ladarrius Williams, and Metrius Hadley; two sisters, Barbara Ivey of Thomasville, GA, and Eleanor Whitte of Wesley Chapel, FL; brother-in-law, Thaddeus Ivey of Thomasville, GA; nieces, Telica Ivey of Thomasville, GA, Toiya Ivey of Thomasville, GA, Cortina Johnson of Thomasville, GA, T’Naya Ivey of Valdosta, GA, Tykeria Thruman of Thomasville, GA, Jade Ivey of Valdosta, GA, and Ke’Riyah Clayton of Thomasville, GA; nephews, Reginald Whitte of Rochester, NY, Andre Ivey of Tallahassee, FL, Javius Deion Ivey of Valdosta, GA, Nathan Duncan of Thomasville, GA, Quentin Thomas of Meigs, GA, Lorenzo Johnson of Thomasville GA and Kortezon Clayton of Thomasville, GA; special aunt, Georgia Robinson Cromartie of Thomasville, GA; Along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and a wealth of dear friends.

Robert will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
