OBITUARY

Robert Turner, Jr., the son of the late Mattie Weldon-Turner and Robert Turner, Sr., was born in Dawson, GA.

Loved by everyone who knew him. He will be greatly missed.

Robert Turner was a member of Mount Sinai Apostolic Faith Church. Robert was united in Holy Matrimony to the late Mattie M. Turner. To this union, ten children were born; three preceded him in death: Patricia Turner, Christine Turner, and Roy Turner.

He was also preceded in death by five grandchildren: Shakila J. Mitchell, Shalakia P. Turner, Sharia J. Mitchell, Shedrick Turner, and La’Mario Kelly. Two great-grandkids also preceded him in death.

He leaves to mourn three daughters: Susan Turner, Wanda “Mikeal” Lovejoy, and Blondie “Billy” Toombs, all of Thomasville, GA. Four sons, Robert “Williedean” Turner, III, of Boston, GA. Ronnie Turner and Henry/Pete “Joann” Turner of Thomasville, GA, and Robby “Pashuna” Turner of Orlando, Florida. A special niece, Yvette Martin of Albany, GA. A loving and devoted nephew: Bob Turner.

Robert is survived by a sister, Justine Slaughter of Doerun, GA, and a brother, Oscar Turner of Thomasville, GA. Two brothers-in-law: Major Martin of Moultrie, GA, and William Martin of West Palm Beach, FL, and an aunt, Louis Turner of Orlando, FL. He is preceded in death by five siblings.

Robert also leaves behind his beloved family: 49 grandchildren, 91 great-grandchildren, and 35 great-great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his loving and caring goddaughter, Cynthia Laing, as well as several bonus children who loved him dearly.
