ROBERT JOSEPH MONROE, born on March 14, 1953, in Thomasville, Georgia, passed away on January 13, 2026.
Robert was a talented artist and handyman, who touched many lives with his creativity and skills. He graduated from Douglas High School and spent his life sharing his passions with those around him.
Robert is survived by his sister, Juanita Monroe Farmer of Thomasville GA; his brothers, Freddie (Sara) Monroe of Silver Springs, Maryland, Kenneth Monroe of Tallahassee, Fl, and John (Sharon) Morris of Atlanta, GA; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends who will remember him fondly.
He was predeceased by his mother, Gertrude Revels Monroe, and father, Joseph Monroe.
Known for his favorite saying, "Can't nobody take my joy!", Robert's spirit will continue to inspire those who knew him.
