Robert Eli Golden, Jr.

Robert Eli Golden, Jr. was born on August 14, 1933 to the late Robert Eli Golden, Sr. and Mary Bell McCauley Golden.
Robert attended Boston School. He was employed by Timberlake and State Market. He was best known as the watermelon packer with one hand. He could get so many on the truck in line a special way. He was United in Holy Matrimony to Helen Curry. He was a member of Rivers of Life Evangelistic Center under the ministries of Bishop Marcus Everett and Co Pastor, Christine Austins Everett.

He departed this life on September 4, 2024.

He was preceded by his parents, Mary Bell and Robert Golden, Sr., his loving wife, Helen Curry Golden; his daughter, Cheryl Curry; sister, Walter Pearl Shannon; brothers in law, Tommy Lee Baker, Jr., Mathis Curry, Jr.; nephews, Tommy Lee Baker, III, James Shannon; sisters in law, Angela Curry, Loreathia Adams and niece, Mary Bennetta Golden.
