Mrs. Requetta Turner Kalip, daughter of Elder Oscar Turner and the late Carolyn Turner, was born on January 11, 1973, in Thomasville, Georgia, at Archbold Memorial Hospital.

Requetta attended Thomas County Central High School in Thomasville, Georgia, and graduated with the Class of 1992. At an early age, she joined Mt. Sinai Apostolic Church.

On Sunday, May 31, 2026, Requetta peacefully departed this life at her home.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories: her loving husband, Malachi Kalip; her father, Elder Oscar Turner; her children, Quaya Turner, Shalikia Bryant, and Kristy Turner; her sister, Rhonda Turner; and her brother, Elder Michael Turner (Tammy).

She was a devoted grandmother to Trinity, Morgan, Kendria, Keaira, Jonathan, Marcus III, and Na'ira.

She also leaves behind her beloved nieces, Keyera Jones, Ceyera Jones, Whitney Turner, Shakima Stevens, Ambriel Turner, Tambriel Turner, and Sha'Michael Turner; nephews, Benard Farley, T'zay Turner, Michael Turner, Jr., and Obadiah Farley; ten great-nieces and great-nephews; her special friends, Karla Evans, Larry Tyler, and Annisa Hill; along with a host of other relatives and friends who will forever treasure her memory.

Requetta was preceded in death by her mother, Carolyn Turner; her grandmother, Bessie Mills; her sister, Deborah Turner; her grandson, Eric Tubbs, Jr.; and her great-nephew, Tyrone Jackson.
