Reginald L. Robinson was born on June 10, 1974, in Quitman, Georgia, to the late William A. Robinson and the late Joyce Scott Robinson. He peacefully won his race on February 16, 2026.

He was married to the late Sara Jones Robinson. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Willie Fred Scott and Mamie Scott, and his paternal grandparents, Sanders Hightower and Eloise Robinson.

Reginald graduated from Thomas County Central High School with the Class of 1993. After graduation, he joined the United States Navy, where he served as an Aircraft Controller. Throughout his life, he worked multiple jobs, always striving to provide and build a meaningful life.

He always dreamed of driving 18-wheeler trucks like his dad, and in April 2020, he fulfilled that dream by becoming a truck driver.

He is survived by his sister, Rolanda Smith (Julius); adopted brother, Corey Clark (Nikki); stepsons, Tory Hillman (1 son), Trent Hillman (3 daughters) and Ty Hillman (2 daughters and 1 sons); nieces, Erica Foster (Travis), E’Licia Curry, Joicelyn Robinson (Jovan), Courtney Clark and Torie Robinson (Trey), nephews Dorian Clark (Bridget) and Nicholas Clark; mother-in law, Beulah Jones; sisters-in law, Regina Scott (Rodyrk) and Christie Thomas (Noble); Godmother, Shirley Scott (Charlie); auntie/momma, Eartha Davis; sister/cousin, Tamala and Vicki Davis, and a host of special aunts, and uncles; God sisters, Lisa Taylor and Michele Jones; best friend for 51 years, Romonzo Hill and a special friend, Karen Grace.
