Pearlie was born July 8, 1951 in Meigs, Ga to the late Drellie and Lillie Ruth Gibson. She was the youngest of all the 6 siblings and was always playing with her siblings as well as all the neighborhood friends and cousins in Pelham. She graduated from Magnolia Highschool in 1969. Shegave birth to her only child, Travis James Gibson and was employed at Goody's manufacturing Company in Pelham, Ga. She worked at PelhamConvelescense Home until she became disabled.
Pearlie was passionate about life. She flourished in the tremendous loveand support of her family and friends, but most importantly Pearlie was aChristian who loved the Lord.Pearlie leaves to cherish her life, her son, Travis James Gibson; brothers, Drellie Gibson (of Atlanta) and Shelly Gibson (Meigs);nephews,Leonardand Jerome Gibson (Meigs);sister, Mrs. Carolyn Jones (Meigs), 2 sisters-in-law,Mrs. Christine Gibson (Camilla) and Mrs. Wilma Gibson(Atlanta);God-sister, Dorothy Wimes; devoted niece, Ms. Tracey EileenGibson (Camilla);devoted caretaker, Mrs. Carolyn Grant (Meigs),devoted caretaker, Mrs. Bloneva McKinnon (Pelham), and a host ofnieces, nephews, and family members.
