Patricia Ann Newsome

Patricia Ann Newsome, daughter of the late Helen and Mydria Stringer, was born February 12, 1961, in Thomas County, Georgia. She became a member of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church in Metcalf, Georgia, at an early age. She worked 31 years at Bank of America, where many of her customers became family.

In 1984, she married Johnny Lee Newsome, who preceded her in death. Their union was blessed with one son, Ka'Mydria Newsome.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories, her son, Ka'Mydria; three stepchildren, Johnny, Reque, and Nicole; two grandchildren, Olivia and Jamydre; her brother, Glenn Stringer.  She has a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends to share in her legacy.

She was preceded in death by five of her brothers, Fred Williams, Robert Lee Williams, Mydria Stringer, Larry Stringer; her sister, Alama Stringer, as well as her godbrother, Robert Stringer.
