A Time To Be Born

Nathaniel Anthony Virgil was the 3rd child born to Leo Virgil Sr. and Mary Dunbar Virgil. He was born in Thomasville, Ga and was a lifetime resident. He was affectionately known as Nate by everyone and Straw by his grandfather.

A Time To Be Educated

Nate was educated in Thomas County School System and graduated from Central High School class of 1985. He also attended Valdosta Technical College where he acquired Certification as a Nursing Assistant (CAN) and Health Service Technician (HST).

A Time To Work

Nate worked at Thomas Drugstore, Archbold Memorial Hospital, Southwestern State Hospital and Georgia Pines working several personal care homes in Thomas and Colquitt Counties until his retirement. Nate also often worked with his father doing painting, lawn maintenance, etc.

A Time To Bear Fruit

Nate is the very proud father to a son Tavaris Virgil, and daughters LaShonna Virgil & Sanai Virgil. He is the super proud grandfather to Milani Skye Virgil and Carson Virgil and a father figure to others.

A Time To Laugh

Nate was always the life of the party. He always lifted spirits and encouraged people with his humor and personality. We will always remember the smiles and laughs, but most all we will remember and certainly miss those "Good Morning" texts, phone calls and inboxes/DMs.

A Time To Serve

Nate was an active member of Mount Moriah Missionary Baptist Church where he played the drums. He was also active in church when he attended Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, the church he grew up in as well as Springhill Missionary Baptist Church.

Nate leaves to cherish his fond memories, his devoted parents Leo and Mary, a loving Son Tavaris, daughters LaShonna & Sania all of Barwick, GA., His siblings Katrina (Albert) Lewis and Leo (Katava) Virgil Jr. of Thomasville, GA., Solomon Virgil of McDonough, GA.,
