Nathaniel Williams Jr.

February 5, 1964 — June 24, 2025

Nathaniel Williams Jr. was born in Coolidge, GA on February 5, 1964, to the late Nathaniel Williams, Sr, and the late Alberta Williams-Hayes. "Boot" as he was affectionately called was raised by loving parents and grandparents. He was the third child out of six children, three girls and three boys.

He attended Central High School, now known as TCCHS. Nathaniel then decided to enroll in the Earl E. Clement Job Corp Center in Morganfield, Kentucky, where he received training in brick masonry. Nathaniel was a former employee of Flowers Baking Company. He worked approximately 26yrs at plants both in Thomasville, GA and Jacksonville, Florida. Nathaniel also had a love for sports, especially baseball where he played the position of catcher. He enjoyed competing in local games throughout the community.

Nathaniel had an infectious, radiant smile, one that displayed the kind of heart he had. He never met a stranger because he would strike up a conversation with anyone. He truly had traits of our mother "the late Mrs. Alberta."  He had his own "swag and talk" and neither one could be duplicated. Lastly, though our hearts were broken when he transitioned, we found comfort in knowing that Nathaniel found the Lord and he was at peace. He had his house in order. When he received his call, he answered and left without hesitation something that we all will have to do when our time is up. Rest on our sweet brother, you are going to truly be missed.

Nathaniel leaves to cherish his memories, five siblings, Stanley Frazier (Janice) of Pelham, GA; Mayceil Brown (Danny) of Thomasville, GA; Sherrie Williams of Moultrie, GA; Maria Thomas (Michael) of Thomasville, GA; Torianto "Mustafaa" Reed (Diya) of Tifton, GA; Aunts, Brenda Gail Slaughter of Moultrie, GA; Cynthia Snelling of Pelham, GA; Nephews, Tony Stafford (Heather);Greg Hill (Ebony) Antonio Wise, Lawrence Ellis, III, Ladarian Ellis, LaQuarius Ellis; Nieces, Jacquline Hunter, Lis'stacha Hodges, Kierica Baker. A host of great nephews, nieces, cousins, and treasured friends. Special friends; Charlie Earl Wilson (Ella); Sabrina Williams; Olivia Blount, The Johnson Family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, grandmothers, Lucy Preston, Lola Mae Christy, great grandmothers; Mary McCaskill, Ardella Norris; grandfather, Lawrence James Frazier; Uncle Jeremiah Christy.
