On Friday one of God’s angels stopped by to carry a missing angel back home and Mrs. Nadine Jones was waiting patiently.
Mrs. Nadine Jones was born December 24, 1939, in Thomas County, Georgia the daughter of Hattie Lou James and Walter James, who preceded her in death.
Mrs. Nadine Jones was a graduate of Magnolia High School class of 1959, she was an active church member of Sweet Missionary Baptist Church of Coolidge, Georgia. She worked many years at Joan Art Mills, Millpond Plantation in housekeeping, Melhana Plantation in housekeeping and she was the honorary grandmother to the children at our family daycare Kidz Smart Childcare. She loved spending time with her children and family. Her sweet quiet spirit will be truly missed.
Nadine Jones leaves to cherish her memories with her children, Wilman James, Cynthia Jones-Green (Rev. Clinton Green), and Tonja Arrington all of Thomasville, GA; three grandchildren, Jasmine James, Mark Futch, Jr. and Ashton Kirk all of Thomasville, GA; several siblings, Willie C. James, of Coolidge, GA, Walter S. James (Patricia), of Midway FL, Juanita Evins of Fort Lauderdale, FL, Robert (Christine) Flournoy of Fort Lauderdale, FL, Roberta James Myers and Andrew L. James, who preceded her in death; God-sons, Avon Laing of Valdosta, GA, John (Jennifer) Scruggs of Thomasville, GA; and a host of nieces, nephews and honorary daughters and sons.
