Mother Ruby Lee Jackson Daniels was born March 24, 1927, in Mitchell County, Georgia to the late Gus and Bessie Jackson.
She was a beloved Eastern Star and committed to service in her community.
Mother Daniels provided seventeen years of compassionate care in her service to the residents of the Mitchell County Convalescent Center as a Nursing Attendant.
She was a lifelong member of Saint Mary Missionary Baptist Church where she humbly served on the Mother's Board, Mission, and Senior Choir. One of the songs Mother Daniels is most remembered for is "Stand Still Jordan, Let a Child of God Go Home." Although she was unable to attend church in her later senior years, she was a loyal and faithful member until Jordan stood still so she could go home.
Those left to cherish her memory are son, Joel Jackson, daughter-in-love, Wyllen Jackson, eleven grandchildren, a host of great-grands, nieces, nephews, and other family members.
Family members who preceded her in death include her parents, Gus and Bessie Jackson; three children, Lamar Daniels (Carlota), Bernice Daniels, Felton Jackson (Alice); and siblings, Bernice Clayton, Gus Jackson, Ella Jackson, Charlotte Jackson, Perry Jackson, and Johnnie W. Jackson.
