Mittie French

Mrs. Mittie French was born on May 26, 1940, in Boston, GA to the late Johnny Talmadge Leaphart and the late Henrietta Graham Leaphart.

Later in her adult life, she went on to pursue a medical career in nursing and received a degree as a Licensed Practical Nurse. She worked at many nursing homes in Thomasville area. She also worked for John D. Archbold Memorial Hospital and Southwestern State Hospital, where she retired.

She leaves to cherish memories, her children, Kimberly Peeks-Simmons, Carlisa Booker (Paul), Anthony Peeks (Christine); siblings, Dorothy Walden (Moses), Connie Rose Simmons, John Arthur Leaphart and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Mrs. Mittie was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold Bernard French, and her parents.
