Minnie Lee Mickens

Minnie Lee Mickens was born April 16, 1950 in Thomasville, Georgia to the late Henry James Jackson, Sr. and Irene James Jackson.

She entered eternal rest on Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at Archbold Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. Minnie met Jimmie Mickens, Sr. They were joined in holy matrimony on January 24, 1970.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her husband of 54 years, Jimmie Mickens, Sr.; six children, LaQuan Jackson Thomas, Gwendolyn Mickens - Miller (Devantre Miller), Jimmie L. Mickens, Jr. (Kimberly), Irene Elaine Mickens - Mitchell, Lacharity Mickens - Hickman, Cecil Mickens (Talresse); three siblings; Annie Rene Hobbs (Gilbert), Henry James Jackson, Jr. (Elaine), Loretta Blunt and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, John Henry Jackson.
