Michael Henry Burns

Michael Henry Burns was born on February 28, 1962 to
the late Henry and Florence Burns.
He was educated at Morris Brown College. He received
his seminary degree at Anderson Theological Institute.
He has pastored at Bethlehem - Midway Christian
Methodist Episcopal Church, Bethlehem African
Methodist Episcopal in Pelham, Georgia, Rocky Hill
African Methodist Episcopal. He served faithfully in
both African Methodist Episcopal and Christian
Methodist Episcopal. He was active in the Ministerial
Alliance, Community Transformation Incorporated on
the executive board.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife of twenty
years, Mildred Burns; his children, Kameron Burns of
Shelby, North Carolina, Elise Burns, Tifton, Georgia;
Melissa Smith, Bronx, NewYork, Demarcus Barron,
Thomasville, Georgia, Isaiah (Uredesia) Barron, Atlanta,
Georgia; sister, Rev. Dr. Vanessee Burns, Plano, Texas;
father in law and mother in law, Arthur and Willie Pearl
Roan; special caregivers, Jerlene Hayes, Elder Dontae
Johnson, Rev. Dr. Emma Hedrington, Reverend Sidney
McKinney, several grandchildren, nieces, nephews and
other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father, his
son, Christopher Robinson, brother, Anthony Burns,
and mother in law, Delores Davis.
