Matthew Mcintyre

SV-6 USNR Matthew T. McIntyre was born May 10, 1924 to the late
Mattie Hayes McIntyre and Henry McIntyre in Thomas County Ga.
He departed this life January 29, 2020 to go to his heavenly home.
He is the last to join his siblings, Willie McIntyre, Henry McIntyre,
Roscoe McIntyre, Roosevelt McIntyre, George McIntyre, Alice Mae
Williams, Essie Mae Curry, and Earnestine Roker.

He attended Douglas High School. After high school, he joined the
US Navy June 16, 1943 and faithfully served until he was honorably
discharged. After leaving the Navy, Matthew decided to make
Chicago IL. his home. He started his career with Corn Products
(later changed to CPC) where he worked 35 years and retired.

He leaves to mourn a host of nieces, nephews, family, friends, and
his special family and friends in Chicago that dearly loved him.
