Mary Nash

Mary Nash was born on February 7, 1953 she was the 7th born to the union of Rayfield and Mary Ellen Ford in Thomasville Georgia.

Our dearest mother Mary Nash sadly passed away on January 8, 2025 at Archbold Medical Center. As a former student of the historical Douglas High School in Thomasville, GA Mary met and married Leroy Nash in 1971. She was a wonderful mother who was always there when needed offering support, wisdom and love in abundance. A friend to many, Mary was a cherished member of the community in Thomas County. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness and strength.

She is predeceased by her husband, Leroy Nash Sr. (2002) and daughter, Jamie R. Nash (2021) and sister, Shirley Sapp (2000). Mary's unwavering spirit will forever be remembered and thrive thru her 5 children: Sandra, Barbara, Leroy Jr. (Shemaiah), Tonya and Kimberly.

Mary's journey was also forged by her loving family and she leave behind Gail Walden (Pastor Henry), Tracey Williams (Alfred), Jewel Evens (late Andrew), Marie Jones (late Joe), Alvin (Late Christine), Albert (Late Marie), Robert, Ramsey (Trisha), Ray Sr., and Gary.

Mary was also a cherished grandmother and leaves behind Justin Jenkins, De'Aundre Nash, Devin Nash, Kerrica Bryant (Dwayne), Jonathon Nash, Jamir Hardy, King Hardy, Akeilaus Hardy, Aniyah Nash, Caleb Nash, Raiden Nash, Shakayla Thompson, Jah'Naria Bryant, D'Zirha Bryant, Davonna Springer and a host of other relatives and friends who felt her warmth and generosity.
