Mary Frances Williams was born on February 13, 1944, to the late Frank and Mayboy Williams in Thomas County, Georgia. “May Frank” obtained her education at both Coolidge and Centennial Schools. She was a member of Cedar Hill Missionary Baptist Church.
May Frank enjoyed traveling, cooking, and shopping! She often traveled to Florida to spend time with family and friends. She had a huge love for babies and food! Some of her favorites included Krispy Kreme Donuts, Collard Greens, and oranges from Florida, especially if they were handpicked by her nephew “Koolaid”. She was well known for her delicious pecan pies and fruit cakes.
In September of 2023, Mary’s health took a turn, and she relocated from her home to Lifecare Camellia Gardens Nursing Home. On March 6, 2026, she peacefully transitioned to the other side and gained her heavenly reward.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Frank and Mayboy Williams, brothers, Willie Fred Scott Sr., JD Williams, Benny Williams; sisters, Elva Lee Decosey, Ella Joe Anderson and Willie Mae Williams.
She leaves to cherish her one and only son, Johnny Williams (Moultrie Georgia), who she provided superior care for until her health declined.Mary also leaves to cherish a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She had the honor of seeing the longevity to become a great, great, great, great aunt. She will truly be missed by all!!
