Mary Ann Barker

Mrs. Mary Ann Barker was born in Thomas County, GA on April 8, 1955, to the late Mrs. Mamie Lee and Mr. Lonnie Clark, Sr.

She confessed Christ at an early age and joined Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church in Meigs, GA.

Mary Ann received her education in the Thomas County School System, graduating in the class of 1973. She went on to pursue her education, receiving a diploma in Business from Thomas Tech. She spent most of her career at Rose City (Envision) Union. She worked there for 32 years before retiring in 2017. She loved her customers and her work family.

She married the love of her life, Mr. Danny Barker in 1981, who preceded her in death.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories, her beloved fur-baby 'Kizzy Barker' of Thomasville; sister, Betty Sanders of Cairo, GA; brothers, Ira Lee Clark, Sr. of Thomasville, GA, Lonnie Clark, Jr. and Curtis (Millie Dean) Clark, Sr., all of Orlando, FL; sister-in-law, Ruby Lee Clark of Thomasville; nieces, Diangelia (Carlos) Washington of Pelham, GA; Melissa (Brian) Donaldson, Farrah Cole, and Vonda Adams, all of Thomasville, GA, Priscilla Knight of Cairo, GA and Linda (Eugene) Heflin of Orlando, FL; nephews, Gerald Sanders of Cairo, GA, Willie Clark of Valdosta, GA, Keith (Gwen) Myrick of Canton, GA; Christopher (Donnie) Cole of Tampa, FL, Daryl and Mickey Clark of Orlando, FL; devoted friends, Mary L. Sanders, Olivia Hill Pittman, and Cynthia Hill Stephens and a host of great nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.

Mary Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Mamie Lee and Lonnie Clark, Sr., her husband, Danny Barker; sisters, Julia Myrick and Shirley Cole; and brother, Rodney Clark.
