Marvin Sanders

December 6, 1943 — April 19, 2025

Marvin Sanders was born December 6, 1943, in Thomasville, GA. He was the son of the late Sam and Alberta Sanders.

He graduated from Douglas High School in 1961 and was very active in the band as well as the science club.

He accepted Christ as his personal savior while attending Providence Missionary Baptist church. He loved to cheer on the Thomasville High School Bulldogs and the Atlanta Braves. He was a collector of finest records and frequently enjoyed listening to the sweet melodies of r&b. He was frequently called "Cool Breeze" and "Bo Rat" by his loving peers. He loved to cruise the town and enjoyed the beautiful sunrise and sunsets at Lake Cherokee. He often filled his family with love and laughter with his great sense of humor.

He married Annie Ruth Guyton, a devoted wife whom he spent 61 years of marriage with.  From this union, two children were born. He leaves to love and cherish memories, Bruce Sanders and Lavitta Stanford. His brother T.C Sanders. His grandchildren Samone, Sinclaire, Sterling, and Viviloria. His great grandchildren Nolan and Nyla. His son-in-law, Marlon Stanford, other in-laws, nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by the following loved ones Samuel and Edgar Sanders, Ocie Scott and Sandra Graham.
