Marcus Jones

Mr. Mark was born February 2,1974 to David Jones and Janice Barnes in Thomasville, GA.

Jones attended Thomasville High School Class of 1992. As a youth he attended New Jerusalem with his grandmother.

Marcus "Mark" was one of a kind. He loved everyone that he came in contact with. He was never judgemental, he'd always say "Only God can judge what a person does, and no matter what they do in their personal life, you can't determine whether they have a relationship with God".

Mark was joined in holy matrimony to SyKeithia C Jones on June 26, 2021.

Mark was self-employed. He was loved by his family and friends, and anyone who came in contact with him.

He leaves to cherish his beloved wife, SyKeithia C. Jones; his daughter, Markeisha "Shay Shay" Anderson; his son, Stephen Carter Thurmond; his mother, Janice Barnes; his father, David Jones; a brother, Demartris Jones; aunts, Mary Peterson (Nathaniel), Elvelena Briscoe, Alice Spencer (Ben), Linda Scott (Hebert); mother in laws; Mary Payne (Frank), Katrina Peterson (Kendrick); father in law, Ray Coates (Kasona); sister in laws, Sholanda Whitehead, TahKeya Hardy, Midajah Hardy; brother in law, Roy Hardy III; a special niece, Kalaisha Shaw; two special cousins, Amelia Perkins, Fredd Jones (Tonya) and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ivy Jones, Lola Mae Jones, Rhetta Jones and Vernon Jones Sr.
