Obituary
Luther Edward Woodruff was born in Thomasville, Georgia, on December 27, 1949, to his parents, Charles Edward Woodruff and Jesse Dunbar Robinson. Luther attended and graduated in 1968 from Magnolia High School (Mighty Buccaneers). He served in the United States Army.
Bishop Woodruff received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Florida Memorial College. Bishop Woodruff, known as Luther at that time, was called to the ministry, so he continued his education and training at Bethany Seminary. Where he and Sandra, the love of his life, continued their education together as a married couple.
Bishop Woodruff and Elder Sandra were united in marriage in 1993, and between the two of them, they were blessed with the love of six (6) God-sent children.
Minister Luther's internship and leadership training were furthered by the pastors, churches, and congregations he served.
God had a plan for Minister Luther Edward Woodruff and elevated him to the calling of pastor and to start his own church ministry. After a few years of pastoring and following God's lead in June of 2000, “Many Mansions Church” was born, a labor of love for Pastor Woodruff. With great thought and prayers, Pastor Woodruff, his wife and the church decided to become an associate church under the umbrella of EBON Temple Inc. Church of God and under the leadership of Prelate Bishop Thomas S Lee Jr. Because of Elder Woodruff’s love for God and his faithfulness, hard work, continued study of God’s word he has held the titles of Minister, Pastor, Elder, Presiding Elder and lastly, Bishop Luther Edward Woodruff.
Bishop Luther and Elder Sandra Woodruff worked together to teach, guide, and grow their family, the church, and the community.
