Mrs. Louise Scott was born November 2, 1942 in Patten Georgia, to the late Leory Safford and Rosetta Curry Safford. She married the late Robert Scott.
At an early age, she began a spiritual life and became a lifelong faithful member at Clifford Temple C.M.E Church, where she was very active as an usher, stewardess, senior choir member, and missionary board member.
She attended Douglass High School and Thomas Technical Institute. She successfully completed a Nurse Aide training on March 2, 1989. In 1989, she began her career at Bryan Center as a CNA and worked at Plantation Manor as a CNA and loved caring for her patients until she retired. She frequently said, "My patients loved me because I'm not lazy". Sister Scott didn't want to sit still, so she decided to go back to work and started working at Goodwill in Thomasville, GA until her health declined. Louise Scott transitioned on October 1, 2024, at Colquitt Regional Hospital in Moultrie, Georgia.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories, two loving daughters, Amanda Wilson (Grier) of Columbia SC and Melisaa Scott of Thomasville, GA; five grandsons, that she loved dearly, Devonte Knight, Artriel Scott, Sr, Marquis Scott, Quenton Norton, all of Thomasville, GA, and Grier Wilson, Jr. of Columbia, SC; five loving great grandchildren, Arbrielle Haywood, Arbrianna Scott, Artriel Scott, Jr., Nia Scott, and Tristian Scott, all of Thomasville, GA; two loving sisters, Betty Raybon (Henry Laing) of Ft Myers, FL, and Geneva Davis of Thomasville, GA; a special host of nieces and nephews, whom loved her very dearly.
She was preceded in death by her siblings, Annie Rose Safford, Arthur Safford, Sr., Ruby Hopkins, Leona Safford Floyd, Sadie Safford, Alice Mae Safford Ponder, Robert Davis, Jessie Davis, Willie Cason, Johnny Lee Safford, Leory Safford, Jr. and Lee Elvert Safford.
